Diffreences Between China amd the U.S.
I think there are many differences between China and the U.S.. First of all, when I go to the shopping mall or offices, I can take the bus or taxi. However, some buses are slow, and we need to wait too much time. The public traffic isn't developed. The second is that we don't need to pay tips after we have a lunch. I remember that I didn't know we need to pay tips to waiters when I first went to american restaurant. Finally, if I add oil in China, there are a person helping me, so I don't need to know how to use a gasoline machine. I should know how to use the gasoline machine because everything need by youself. In short, I think China and the U.S. are so different.

In your first observation about taking a bus or taxi, are you referring to the U.S.? I agree, the bus system is not very good here. Most people drive their own car. About 30 or 40 years ago, it was common to have a gas station attendant come and fill the gas for you in your car. He would also check the level of oil in your engine and wash your windows. This was called "Full Service." We also had "Self Service." In Self Service, you did everything by yourself and it was cheaper. As time went on, people wanted to save money, and gradually "Full Service" became extinct.
